Becareful When Your Money Increases

Text: Deut 8:17-19, Ps 62:10; Lk 12:15-21; 1 Tim 6:9-12.

This is a call for Evangelists to be careful of money when it begins to increase in their preaching ministries. God gives the power to make wealth so that his will in ministry will be fulfilled.

This power must not be abused. Jesus has power on earth to make money; Paul also, but they never set their mind to this. Rather their mind for money was controlled and directed to the mission of God to achieve, not by money but by the revelation of God on skills, strategies and ways and means of achieving in them.

When the mind of the Evangelist is set on money as a means to achieve goals in preaching ministry, this is an error, temptation, and snare.

Rather be hungry for perishing souls; set your mind on the things of God not on the things of this earth, when God sees your faithfulness he rewards you with an increase in money.

When your financial or money increase comes from God; he gives you wisdom on how to manage or control it so that you shall still be on fire for souls while money continues to increase to the glory of God. This is what we want to study today.

1. God touches friends and partners to support your preaching ministry. They determine in their hearts out of free will the amount of money they shall sow in your ministry every month/year/weekly.

God gives them the heart to sow and keep to their vows faithfully unto his work in your hand. Lk 8:1-3; Rev 16:1-2; Phil 3:18; 1 Kg 10:10

2. God can lead you to have some investments and employ faithful friends and laborers who will control it for you; so that your heart will not be distracted or defocused from the work of soul warning.

For the heart is deceitful who can know what it could produce at any

Moment, only God can. Rom 8:14; Math 25:14-15; Genesis 39:3-6.

3. God can use the products of your preaching ministry such as books, DVDs, stickers; videos; and others to bless you.

Wait for God’s time in all these; wait for his leading. It is he that
Anoints any product to be on-demand for your financial increase 1kg 10:26-27; Ps 1:3; Gen 39:3. Deut 28:8

4. God uses the result or proofs of miracles, signs, and wonders in your preaching ministry to favor you in attracting financial growth in your life and ministry.

As your ministry proofs period. Solutions to people’s problems; they favor you as God touches them. Not as you charge them money for your service but as God touches them they do it freely and willingly. 1 Cor 9:1-18

1. Set your mind on God; on the preaching ministry daily in prayers and reading of the Bible and on the work in your hand than on the amount of money in the account.
There is every need that you protect your heart from thinking on how to increase and increase the money you have; how to make more gain than God can give. This is dangerous. Allow God to increase it for you as he wills. Col 3:1-3; Ps 62:10; Jer 17:9-10

2. See that you invest the money more in preaching ministry than in your private life and family. Take as much as is fair to you and more to the ministry. Math 22:21; Math 6:19-21; Gal 6:7-8.

3. Give to charity or to the needy people and other preaching ministries and churches as God lays in your heart. Do not “be a Father Christmas” with God's money; wait for him to lead you on how to spend it. Deut 15:9-11; Ps 41:1-3; Gal 6:9-10.

4. Your mindset is very important; live a holy life; be conscious of heaven; souls and rapture more than on how to make a gain of money. Think of the anointing you carry and vision given you by God to finish. And your money will be under your control; Phil 4:11-13; 1 Tim 6:6-9; Col 3:1-3; Rom 8:5-7.

1. It helps you remain focused on the anointing; your preaching ministry; on heaven and in the fear of God need to continue your heavenly race unto finishing: Heb 12:2; 1 Cor 9:15-17

2. It helps you to remain fulfilled unto old age; heaven and world to come without crashing your faith in God! 2 Tim 4:5-8; 2 Pet 1:10-14.

3. It helps you have peace of heart and peace with God without lacking doing God’s work; 1 Thess 4:11-12, Phil 4:18-19; Job 14:27.

4. It helps you not to boast of your money seeing that it is God that brings it to you, not by your own power. It humbles you before those who have not received from God as much as yours. 1 Cor 4:6-7; Joh 3:27; 1 Cor 3:21-23.
